Ashley See is a freelance writer in Seattle, WA.

A graduate from Seattle University with a BA in journalism & mass communications, Ashley is a journalist by training and an absolute internet junking/blogging enthusiast by hobby.

What stemmed from a lackadaisical writing position at her high school newspaper, The Laurus, blossomed into an adoration for the published word. Ashley has worn several hats throughout her career in media -- ranging from an editor of a literary magazine, to a paid staff writer for her college newspaper, The Spectator, to even a weekend gig as an indie rock DJ for three years at KSUB.

Seattle neighborhood blogging has dominated Ashley's freelance experience. Contingent upon the publication, Ashley has been a contributing writer, an admin and an editor of up to five blogs at once.

From 8-5 on weekdays, Ashley can be found coaching LexBlog clients on the how-to's of establishing their online reputations on niche subjects through effective blogging. While it was said in good humor, Ashley takes her role seriously and was once dubbed, "The Content Nazi."

Outside of business hours, Ashley can be found feverishly updating one of the three active blogs she participate with, which range in topics from food blogging on Freshly Vegetarian, to cutesy-fem things over on Girly Girls Like..., to her beloved neighborhood, Around Capitol Hill.

Offline, this caffeine addicted gal frequents eclectic cafes and secondhand shops far more than her bank account allots. Truth be told, if you ask her, she'd rather be somewhere that requires a passport or bundled up in a rural cabin documenting wild tales on an inexpensive, retro typewriter.
